Profhilo® has a more liquid consistency compared to traditional dermal fillers. Instead of remaining in the injection site, the solution disperses evenly under the skin’s surface to treat the targeted area of the neck or body. Unlike fillers that add volume, Profhilo® works by moisturising and reinforcing the skin’s structure from the inside out.
After a Profhilo treatment you will have 10 small bumps on your face or neck that look a little like insect bites. Those on the face take about 2- 6 hours to subside, and those on the neck may take a little longer – perhaps up to 2 days. We advise patients attending for a Profhilo neck treatment to bring a scarf or wear a high-necked garment to their appointment.
